INVASIVESNET/GuardIAS Supported Papers

Introduction

GuardIAS promotes collaborative, open-access publishing and systematic tracking of outputs across work packages, as set out in the proposal’s open-science and dissemination plan (WP5/WP6). Partners commit to OA routes (Green/Diamond/Gold), use institutional repositories and Zenodo/Google Scholar for discoverability, and may leverage Open Research Europe for immediate OA and open peer review.

Publication targets and KPIs.

Our target is to publish over 60 open-access, peer-reviewed articles based on the work conducted within GuardIAS. In addition, under WP5 (Task 5.2), we have set a key performance indicator to financially support 25 open-access publications per year—totaling 75 over three years—from authors both within and beyond GuardIAS, through Regular and Special Issues of INVASIVESNET journals (Aquatic Invasions, BioInvasions Records, Management of Biological Invasions) aligned with the project’s objectives and annual conferences.
